Free Legal Clinic

The Community Restorative Justice Center’s Legal Clinic provides one time advice about legal rights and responsibilities, options for dealing with legal issues, and information about how the legal system works so you know what to expect when you have to go to court. The legal clinic is for people who are low income or have other barriers to getting legal help.

The Legal Clinic is held on the second Monday of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.* Appointments are recommended, but the Legal Clinic also takes walk-ins.

Legal Clinics are staffed by local attorneys who volunteer their time. If you will need ongoing legal assistance, a referral can be made at the end of your session to a local attorney with the expertise you need. The legal Clinic is made possible by a grant from the Vermont Bar Foundation.

For more information, or to make an appointment,
please call 748-2977.

*If the second Monday of the month is a holiday, please call to find out when the Legal Clinic is scheduled.
